Springfield Police investigate break-in 11 Jan 14

The Springfield Police Department is investigating a break-in at the Cedar Manor Apartments.  Police say they received a report Thursday afternoon around 12:15 that a door had been popped open but nothing was taken.  Mail had been tampered with and a package was opened.  Police then took a report of another break-in at the same place Friday morning.  The person who lived at the apartment opened the door as the suspect tried to pry it open.   The suspect then fled on food and is described as a white male in his early 20s, small build, about 5-feet, 5-inches tall with blonde hair wearing a jean jacket.  If you have any information, contact the Springfield Police Department.
