Schools Closed – More Cold Coming 23 Jan 14

Bitterly cold weather has closed schools across Minnesota, and is causing late starts at dozens of others, as administrators express concern over keeping students safe with wind chills around 35-below zero. Forecasters are expecting a little relief from the biting cold on Friday, but the subzero temperatures aren’t even close to letting up. Minnesota Climatologist Mark Seeley says that even colder temperatures are predicted through the end of the month. He says there have been few weather patterns like this since 1982.
