A 20-year-old New Ulm man has been charged with felony drug possession after several grams of methamphetamine were allegedly found inside a vehicle he was in. Cody L. Stark also faces lesser charges of fleeing police on foot and possession of synthetic marijuana. New Ulm Police officers had attempted to arrest him on an outstanding warrant out of Stearns County, but he fled on foot and a subsequent search for him was unsuccessful. He was later found and taken into custody, and a search of the vehicle he was in uncovered marijuana and meth paraphernalia as well as more than 4 grams of meth and 7 grams of synthetic marijuana. Last month Stark was put on supervised probation for 15 years for 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct after having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
