MN Auditor Investigating MNsure 07 Jan 14

Minnesota’s legislative auditor plans an investigation into the launch of MNsure, the state’s new online health insurance exchange. Auditor Jim Nobles plans to start his investigation with the vendors that received tens of millions of dollars to build the website. Nobles says the first phase will focus on whether the IT contractors delivered on their promises and whether the state kept a close enough eye on their work during the process. The audit will start today (TUE) at the Minnesota Department of Commerce, which handled the flow of federal funds to the state.
