Minnesota Snowmobile Safety Week 20 Jan 14

It’s Snowmobile Safety Awareness Week in Minnesota. Officials are urging riders to slow down and put safety first, even if you are familiar with the terrain you’re riding on. DNR Captain Mike Hammer says that by law, anyone born after 1976 must have a snowmobile safety certificate to operate a machine on public lands or waters in Minnesota. For more information on safety training for all ages, you can visit the DNR’s web site.
