A Buffalo Lake man accused of having a meth lab in his bedroom closet made his first appearance in Renville County Court on Thursday. 28-year-old Brandon James Schroeder remains in custody in the Renville County Jail with unconditional bail set at $150,000. He is facing multiple felony charges after drug task force agents allegedly discovered the chemicals and materials for making methamphetamine in his basement bedroom. Schroeder has previous drug convictions as well, and is also facing felony charges in McLeod County for allegedly selling meth to a confidential informant on three different occasions, the most recent incident being last month in Brownton. Those charges were filed on Wednesday.
