Bean and Pasta Soup

1 onion, chopped

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic

1/2 tsp thyme

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 cup bow pasta

1 can kidney beans

1 can tomatoes

1/4 tsp pepper

3 beef bouillon cubes

Cook onion in oil for 5 minutes. Add chopped garlic and seasonings; cook 2 minutes. Add bouillon cubes and 4 cups water. Cover and bring to a boil. Add pasta and beans. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in tomatoes. Cook five minutes longer.
