Two New MN Foreign Trade Offices 18 Dec 13

The state Department of Employment and Economic Development plans to open two new foreign trade offices in 2014. San Paulo, Brazil and Seoul, South Korea will join Dusseldorf-Cologne, Germany as the state’s three foreign trade offices. DEED Commissioner Katie Clark Sieben says the three sites are an outstanding choice that will help increase Minnesota exports and attract foreign investment in the state. The three countries were among Minnesota’s largest export markets last year, with Germany ranked fifth at $728-million, South Korea sixth at $707-million and Brazil 15th at $341-million.
