National Influenza Vaccination Week 10 Dec 13

This is National Influenza Vaccination Week and state health officials are encouraging you to get a flu shot. The Minnesota Department of Health’s Claudia Miller says although current vaccines are maybe not as effective as they might hope, they’re still the best and most specific tool to prevent flu. She recommends that everyone six-months-old and older be vaccinated for the flu. To find a flu clinic near you, go to and click on “Vaccine Clinic Look-Up.”
