The American Red Cross is holding a few blood drives around the area this week as the holiday season gets into full gear. Blood donations tend to dip this time of year, with many regular donors busy with holiday activities, but the need for blood remains constant. The Bloodmobile will be at the Truman Community Center from Noon to 6 today (MON). On Tuesday eligible donors can give blood at the Waldorf Community Center from 1 to 7, on Thursday there will be a blood drive at the Town and Country Leisure Hall in Mapleton from 1 to 7, and on Friday the Bloodmobile stops at the Hanska Community Center from 1 to 6 and the Cleveland Public School from 8am to 2pm.
