Groundbreaking for Vikings Stadium Today 03 Dec 13

Ground will be broken today for the new billion-dollar home of the Vikings.  It will take about two and a half years to build the 65-thousand seat stadium, which will replace the Metrodome.  The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority plans to turn the shovels in the ceremonial event at 10 a.m., with tickets available for the public starting an hour earlier at Gate D of the Metrodome.
