The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis says it plans to release the names of priests credibly accused of sexually abusing minors on Thursday. The names will be posted on a new page of the archdiocese website and in its newspaper, The Catholic Spirit. A Ramsey County judge ruled Monday that the archdiocese has until December 17th to disclose its list of 33 credibly accused priests. The Diocese of Winona also has until then to disclose its list of 13 priests. The archdiocese says it will include the priest’s name, year of birth, age, year of ordination, and where the priest now lives. All of the men who will be identified have reportedly been permanently removed from ministry or are dead.
