Wolves Edge Knicks 04 Nov 13

 Minnesota forward Kevin Love scored 34 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help the Timberwolves hold off the Knicks 109-100 at Madison Square Garden in New York City last evening.  Minnesota led 40-19 after the first quarter.  Kevin Martin added 30 points on 9-of-12 shooting including 5-of-5 from behind th arc.  The T’Wolves are 3-and-0.  New York cut the lead to as low as three in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t finish off the comeback.  Carmelo Anthony missed 13-of-21 yet still finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds.  Raymond Felton dished out 12 assists and chipped in eight points.  The Knicks fell to 1-and-2.  Minnesota visits Cleveland tonight.
