Two men have been arrested for their role in a stabbing incident at an MSU-Mankato dormitory Friday. Authorities have not released the identities of the men at this time as the investigation continues, but have said that no other suspects are being sought and it was not a random act. The assault took place in MSU’s McElroy Residence Community Friday afternoon, and a man who was not a student received non-life threatening cuts to his hand. After the assault, MSU issued a “shelter in place” warning that asked people on campus to stay where they were until further notice. The warning was lifted a short time later. Charges against the 2 suspects are pending.
