Plea Deal In St. Peter Native’s Murder 29 Nov 13

The Colorado woman accused of killing a St. Peter native earlier this year pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree murder in court Wednesday as part of a plea deal. The body of 52-year-old Leann “Annie” Meyer was found this summer after she had been missing for nearly 5 months. Meyer disappeared in late February, and her remains were found July 4th near a cabin more than 100 miles from the house in Colorado that she shared with Melissa Miller. Investigators found evidence at the cabin that led to Miller being arrested for murder. She will reportedly be sentenced to 20 years in prison as part of the plea deal.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Melissa Miller
