Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle will be visiting New Ulm Monday morning. The commissioner will be holding a question-and-answer session at the New Ulm Community Center beginning at 9am. Doors will open at 8:30am Monday, and a free continental breakfast will be available. Zelle will be discussing the ongoing effort to expand Highway 14 to 4 lanes from Mankato to New Ulm, and will also be talking about Mn/DOT’s plans to meet the transportation needs of the state over the next 50 years. Everyone is welcome to attend the event.
