Lottery Ticket Theft In Springfield 07 Nov 13

A North Mankato woman is facing a felony state lottery fraud charge over accusations that she stole scratch-off tickets from a business in Springfield and cashed them in at a convenience store in Redwood Falls. 39-year-old Stephany Lynn Meine allegedly stole a total of 18 lotto tickets while working as a clerk at the Springfield Thrifty White Drug Store. She later reportedly cashed in 3 of the missing tickets worth $180 at a store in Redwood Falls. She’s facing up to 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine for the crime, and is scheduled to make an appearance in Redwood County Court on the felony charge on November 18th.
