Local Area Blood Drives This Week 25 Nov 13

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile is making a few stops around the area this week, including in New Ulm as well as the annual Thanksgiving Blood Drive in St. James. The Bloodmobile will be at New Ulm Cathedral High School from 7:30am to 1:30pm on Tuesday. On Wednesday there are blood drives at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake from Noon to 6 and the Glencoe City Center from 1 to 7. On Thursday, the annual Thanksgiving Blood Drive in St. James is being held from 7:30 to 11:30am at the National Guard Armory, with all donors receiving a complimentary slice of pumpkin pie. On Friday the Bloodmobile will be at the Le Sueur Community Center from 8:30am to 2:30pm as well. All blood types are currently needed in southern Minnesota, especially O-Negative, A-Negative, and B-Negative. For more information on donating blood click HERE or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
