A Mankato church is now offering a $1,000 reward to find whoever broke stained-glass windows and damaged an elevator at the church. Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church has been vandalized twice in recent months. In the latest incident this past weekend, two double-paned stained glass windows were broken and a thrown brick damaged an elevator inside the church. Damage is estimated at around $7,200 Surveillance video shows a male dressed in a dark top and light pants in the area when the vandalism was committed, and that person being picked up by someone driving a larger-size vehicle. Twelve windows at the church were broken in August as well. Anyone with information on these crimes should contact Mankato police.
