The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an intruder at an address near Brownton Tuesday afternoon, and a Brownton man was taken into custody. The incident occurred at just after 1pm at a home on Major Avenue east of Brownton. Once on the scene, deputies located the suspect, 48-year-old Michael Dewayne Ingebretson, and he was arrested and taken to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe, although he has since been released. He’s facing charges of 1st-degree burglary and 5th-degree drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Minnesota State Patrol assisted with the arrest.
