 Wild Extend Contract Of Pominville

The Wild signed forward Jason Pominville to a five-year contract extension, which if fulfilled, will keep the 30-year-old in a Wild sweater until 2019.  Pominville came to the Wild in an in-season trade last season with Buffalo, but only appeared in nine games before a season-ending injury.  Pominville scored 30 goals and had 43 assists in the 2011-12 season with the Sabres.  Pominville is a native of Repentigny, Quebec, but has played with Team USA in international hockey events in recent seasons because he carries dual citizenship.
