Two Hwy 15 Crashes Wednesday 24 Oct 13

A Sleepy Eye man was injured Wednesday afternoon when another vehicle turned directly in front of his on Highway 15 near Hutchinson. 51-year-old Barry Hillmann of Sleepy Eye was driving a Dodge Caravan northbound on 15 when the accident happened at just after 1:30pm Wednesday. The State Patrol says that a southbound Ford Ranger driven by 31-year-old Robert Strand of Elysian was going to make a left turn when Strand turned in front of Hillmann’s van. Both men were taken to the Emergency Room at the Hutchinson Hospital, and their injuries were determined to be non life-threatening. Their vehicles took severe damage.
