A Trimont man was injured Tuesday evening after a near-miss collision with a semi-truck on Highway 4 in Martin County. It happened at just after 6pm. 40-year-old Linh Bowie of Trimont was driving a Chevy Cobalt southbound on 4 when he swerved to avoid a Freightliner semi heading eastbound on 240th Street. Bowie’s vehicle then went off the road and into the ditch, and he was taken to the Fairmont Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi, 42-year-old Craig Flohrs of Ormsby was not hurt. The accident remains under investigation. Emergency crews from Trimont and Sherburn assisted at the scene.
