Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie

1 qt vanilla ice cream, softened

1 cup pumpkin

1/2 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup pecans, optional

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

Combine pumpkin with sugar, spices and salt. Put in softened ice cream and beat until blended. Fold in pecans and pour into graham cracker crust. Freeze 12 hours.
