Nat’l Radon Awareness Week 21 Oct 13

This is Federal Radon Awareness Week and officials are urging Minnesotans to test their homes for the colorless, odorless gas. Dan Tranter with the State Health Department says more than 40% of houses in Minnesota have dangerous levels. Tranter says radon is the leading cause of lung cancer for non-smokers. Test kits are available at county health agencies usually for $20 or less.
