A Lafayette man was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after driving off the road on Highway 15. Twenty-four-year-old Brett LeBrun was driving a Chevy Impala southbound on 15 when he ran off the road and into the ditch at around 3:40pm Tuesday. The State patrol says that LeBrun then drove out of the ditch and crossed the highway before driving into the other ditch and coming to a stop around 450-feet into a field. Lafayette Ambulance transported him to the New Ulm Medical Center, where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries. Lafayette Fire and the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
