The omnibus hearing for one of three men charged with the strangulation of a Willmar Woman has been canceled. The defense attorney for Nathaniel Junkermeier, Kent Marhsall, requested the cancellation because of a scheduling conflict and because of the first-degree indictment against his client.
Kandiyohi County District Court Judge Donald Spilseth ordered that a scheduling hearing be set with Marshall’s law clerk and the attorneys in the cast. Junkermeier and 17-year-old Robert Warwick of Willmar were indicted by a grand jury in September on first-degree murder charges in the death of Warwick’s grandmother, Lila Warwick. A third teen in the case, 16-year-old Devon James Jenkins, faces two second-degree murder charges as a juvenile.
