A former Glencoe police officer has been sentenced to a year in the Hennepin County workhouse for sending nude photographs of himself to two teenage girls while serving on the Minneapolis Police Department. Thirty-three-year-old Bradley Schnickel pleaded guilty to two felony counts involving two girls under 16. He also faces 14 charges in Anoka County for allegedly using social media to try to lure underage girls into sexual encounters. His trial there is scheduled for February. Schnickel worked for the Glencoe Police Department for over 2 years beginning in June 2005, but none of the alleged sexual encounters occurred while he was in that community. He was fired from the Minneapolis Police Department this past February.
