Authorities say that two men have been arrested for their role in a fatal shooting in Shakopee last week. The two were picked up over the weekend, including 21-year-old Anthony James Cox of Minneapolis, who is accused of killing Aaron James Moran. Investigators say the 32-year-old Shakopee man was fatally shot during an armed robbery at his house last Tuesday. The second person arrested, 36-year-old Brooks Ellery Kurr of Annandale is accused of aiding and abetting the suspected killer after the fact. Authorities say that at least one of the men was acquainted with the victim, and that robbery still appears to be the motive behind the homicide. The two are being held in the Scott County Jail pending official charges.
