A farming accident in Wright County over the weekend injured a seasonal worker from California, and came after a fatal farm accident on Friday. Sheriff’s officials say the unnamed victim was pulled into a corn husking machine Saturday afternoon. Coworkers were able to stop the machine but his arm was crushed. He was flown to an unnamed hospital for treatment. On Friday a 54-year-old man from Hutchinson was trying to remove corn stalks that were jamming a corn chopper when he was pulled into the machine. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
