Alexei Ramirez was 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored, while Adam Dunn hit his 32nd homer of the season. Erik Johnson earned his first career win, dealing six innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts. Liam Hendricks didn’t make it out of the first inning as he was charged with all seven runs for Minnesota. Chris Parmelee drove in the Twins only run.
