Some American Red Cross offices around the region are being consolidated into other offices in the coming weeks, including in New Ulm. The Red Cross announced on Friday that it will be closing the New Ulm office on South Broadway and consolidating it with the office in Mankato. The move is intended to streamline operations and make the best use of donor dollars. The consolidation will be effective October 4th, and Executive Director Sandy Radloff’s position will be eliminated. Red Cross services will continue to be provided throughout Brown, West Nicollet, Redwood, and Renville Counties through the combined efforts of volunteers and staff in the area, under the direction of South Central Minnesota Chapter Executive Director Bob Meyer.
