MN & Taiwan Reach Trade Agreement 14 Sep 13

Minnesota’s trade relationship with Taiwan got a boost this week. Taiwanese officials signed a letter of intent to buy up to 3.5 billion dollars of corn and soybeans from Minnesota and other Midwestern farmers over the next two years. The Ag Policy Committee’s Representative Andrew Falk osays it’s good news for the state’s economy. Taiwan is Minnesota’s sixth-largest export market.
