MN Has Lowest Health Care Costs 25 Sep 13

Our state will reportedly have the lowest average premiums nationwide on three health insurance plans to be sold under the federal health care overhaul. Minnesota will offer average monthly premiums of $144 for a plan at the least expensive level of coverage, and $192 for two plans in the second least expensive. Officials say that no other state offers lower rates in any of the three categories. MNsure.com, the state’s health plan portal, launches next week.
