Health Care Law Scam Warnings 07 Sep 13

The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota is warning residents of potential phone scams involving the pending federal health care roll out. Officials say that fraudulent schemes are likely to increase as the October 1st launch date for Minnesota’s new online health insurance exchange, known as MNsure, approaches. The Better Business Bureau says that Seniors will be a likely target for these scammers, and the best advice they give is to not be forced into anything. More than 4 in 10 Americans reportedly remain confused about the status of the federal health care law, with 13% believing it has been repealed or overturned according to a recent poll.
