A Good Thunder woman pleaded guilty to 5th-degree arson in Blue Earth County Court Monday and was sentenced to Time Served. 37-year-old Krista Marie Mackie had been accused of turning on the propane tanks at the Crystal Valley Co-Op facility in Good Thunder last December in an apparent effort to cause an explosion. She was arrested after leaving footprints in the snow leading from the scene, and tearing her jeans on a barbed-wire fence. She was convicted of the misdemeanor arson charge in court Monday after changing her plea to guilty, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for the 38 days she already served, and the remaining 52 days were stayed. Mackie will also pay about $300 in fines and fees.
