There was a court appearance in Willmar on Monday for one of the teens accused in the July 29th murder of 79-year-old Lila Warwick. Sixteen-year-old Devon Jenkins is charged as a juvenile with two counts of second-degree murder. Jenkins allegedly helped plan the robbery and murder of Warwick and drove accused killer Brok Junkermeier to her home. He continues to be held without bail in the Prairie Lakes Juvenile Detention Center. Prosecutors will try to certify Jenkins as an adult at a hearing on August 29th. Warwick’s 17-year-old grandson Robert was allegedly involved in the murder as well.
