A total of 6 people, including 3 young children, were hospitalized Monday morning following a car crash on Highway 68 in Brown County near Sleepy Eye. It happened at just before 7am. An eastbound Dodge Durango driven by 27-year-old Shaila Boerner of Redwood Falls apparently crossed over into the westbound lane and sideswiped a Dodge Intrepid driven by 59-year-old Michael Lux of Sleepy Eye. Boerner’s passengers included 33-year-old Kimberly Sell of Clements as well as children ages 7, 5, and 4. They were all taken to the Redwood Falls Hospital with unidentified, but reportedly non life-threatening injuries. Lux was taken to the Sleepy Eye Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were totaled.
