A 20-year-old college student from northwestern Minnesota has been crowned the 60th Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Polk County Dairy Princess MarJenna McWilliam of Winger was crowned Wednesday night at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. She’ll serve as the official goodwill ambassador for Minnesota’s dairy farmers for the next year. McWilliam attends North Dakota State University, where she majors in English education. County dairy princesses from across Minnesota competed for the Princess Kay title, with the representatives from Goodhue and Benton Counties being named the runners-up. Wabasha County Dairy Princess, and Martin Luther College in New Ulm student Alydia Lee was named Miss Congeniality.
