MN Drought Is Practically Over 14 Aug 13

A chilly and wet spring followed by a relatively cool summer has erased the drought across most of the state, except for lingering dryness in far northwestern and north-central Minnesota. Spoden says currently only 2 or 3% of Minnesota is in moderate drought — compared to early April, when two-thirds of the state had severe or extreme drought.
