A Madelia man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly fleeing police and threatening to kill a man. A Madelia police officer was reportedly dealing with several public nuisance violations outside the home of 34-year-old Rigoberto Flores on Sunday when Flores allegedly sped off in a truck and a pursuit began. When Flores was taken into custody he reportedly admitted to hitting a man in the mouth twice at a local bowling alley and to telling the man he was going to kill him. He is now facing 3 felony and 7 misdemeanor charges. A pretrial hearing is set for August 20th.
