A long-time coach with the Sibley East School District facing criminal charges for allegedly recording a video under his hair stylist’s dress made an appearance in court on Thursday, and the Sibley East School Board voted to suspend him with pay this week. 38-year-old Doug Flieth has reportedly admitted to taking the video during a haircut at the woman’s home. He’s been charged with a gross misdemeanor count of interference with privacy, and faces up to a year in jail. Flieth is the head girls basketball coach at Sibley East High School, and also coaches football and golf and teaches elementary physical education. He has been a coach at the school for 15 years, but after voting to suspend him the school board also voted to not renew his contract.
