Gas prices are on the decline across Minnesota. The statewide average has fallen by more than 20-cents in the last couple of weeks, to $3.44 a gallon as of today (THU). Triple-A Minnesota’s Gail Weinholzer says prices do tend to drop as fall approaches, and with refineries switching to cheaper winter fuel soon, prices are unlikely to go up before Labor Day. Regular unleaded was selling for $3.59 a gallon at most locations in New Ulm as of this morning. The current national average is $3.56 a gallon.
