A 20-year-old Glencoe man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident west of Arlington Sunday morning. Joshua Lindeman was reportedly driving westbound on Sibley County Road 12 about 2 miles west of Arlington when he ran off the road, hit a driveway, and rolled at just after 6:30am. Authorities say Lindeman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where he was listed in Critical condition as of Monday.
A Nicollet man was injured in a rollover accident on Highway 99 Monday evening. It happened shortly after 5:30pm just east of Nicollet. 41-year-old Thomas Thomsen was driving a Buick Regal westbound on 99 when he lost control and the vehicle went off the road and rolled. Thomsen was taken to the Mankato Mayo Hospital with injuries described as non life-threatening. He was wearing a seatbelt. The Buick was totaled.
Two people were seriously hurt in a head-on crash near New Prague Monday evening. A Honda Accord driven by 18-year-old Justin Nelson of Farmington was heading eastbound on Highway 19 near Church Avenue when the vehicle reportedly crossed the centerline at around 5:20pm and hit a westbound Chevy Blazer. The Blazer was driven by Elizabeth Alvarez of Le Sueur. She and Nelson were both airlifted to North Memorial in Robbinsdale with serious injuries. Both vehicles were totaled.
A Hutchinson man was injured when his car ran off the road on Highway 15 near Brownton Monday afternoon. 38-year-old Jason Cross was driving a GMC Sonoma southbound on 15 when the vehicle left the road at just before 12:30pm and hit a field approach and vaulted. Cross was wearing a seatbelt, and suffered non life-threatening injuries. He was treated at the Hutchinson Hospital. The damage to his vehicle was severe.
