A rodeo bull that got loose at the Dakota County Fair on Wednesday injured several people, including a woman who was airlifted to a hospital and a sheriff’s deputy who shot the beast before he was trampled. The bull escaped its pen at around 8:15pm, and charged the sheriff’s deputy who had chased the animal after it got out. The officer reportedly fired two shots at the bull before it ran him over. The deputy was among around eight people hurt, though only the one woman needed hospitalization. Her condition is not known. The bull was re-captured after being shot. It’s condition is also unknown.
