The local State Patrol District has a new commander. Lieutenant Jeremy Geiger was promoted to Captain during a ceremony in the Twin Cities Tuesday. Geiger is a St. James graduate who began his career with the Minnesota State Patrol in 1998. He has served as a road trooper, Academy State Officer, Field Training Officer, Background Investigator, among other duties and most recently has been field Lieutenant in District 2200. Lieutenant Geiger will be replacing Captain Lori Hodapp who has accepted a new assignment as Commander and Director of the State Patrol Training and Development in the Twin Cities.
