Pineapple Meatballs 12 Jul 13

1-1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup instant oatmeal
1 – 8oz can water chestnuts, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 egg
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp garlic salt

Mix ingredients together and form into meatballs; fry until done and drain.

1 – 8oz can crushed pineapple, drained, but save juice
1 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup beef bouillon
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce

Mix all sauce ingredients, including juice (except pineapple chunks). Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. When thick and clear, boil 1 minute. Add pineapple and pour over meatballs. Keep warm in crockpot.
