MN Soldiers Combat Credit 29 Jul 13

The state Revenue Department says that around 2,300 Minnesota soldiers have not yet claimed their tax credit for time served in a combat zone in 2009 — and that credit expires on October 15th. The Minnesota Department of Revenue’s Terri Steenblock says that the credit is $120 for each month spent in a combat zone. If a servicemember is not sure whether they qualify for the credit, they can get the answers on the agency’s website, plus information about what documents they need to provide.
