Fall camp for the University of Minnesota football team begins this week on campus. The Golden Gophers will practice for the first time on Friday afternoon at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex. Friday’s workout is free and open to the public and begins at 5:15 p.m. Gopher head coach Jerry Kill told reporters yesterday that he is eager to get the camp started. He says the players have been working out hard during the offseason. Minnesota opens the regular season at home against Nevada-Las Vegas on August 29th at TCF Bank Stadium.
