Two people were hurt in a car crash just north of New Ulm Friday afternoon. It happened at just before 3pm at the “Y” intersection with Highways 14 and 15. A southbound Chrysler LeBaron driven by an unidentified 17-year-old girl from Stewart was turning left onto Highway 14 when it collided with a northbound Ford pickup truck in the intersection. Both the girl and the driver of the pickup, 73-year-old Dennis Harder of New Ulm were taken to the New Ulm Medical Center with injuries described as being non life-threatening. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. A 14-year-old passenger in the Harder vehicle was not hurt.
